The Flinders Ranges Premiere Trail Running Event

The Ikara Ultra is a life-changing adventure in an iconic South Australian location. It is a true outback journey and chronicle of ancient landscapes. Let’s gather in Ikara, the Aboriginal name for ‘meeting place,’ and let our stories flow through our shared love of trails, running, and community.

Over 600 million years old, the Flinders Ranges is one of Australia’s most magnificent landscapes. The Adnyamathanha People (meaning hills or rock people) are the traditional custodians of this diverse landscape, which is world-renowned for its wealth of natural, cultural significance, historic and scenic values.
